Duties & ResponsibilitiesClinical & Scientific Leadership:
- Contributes to development and execution of early clinical plans for the TA
- Ensures timely delivery of Phase I–IIb studies with scientific integrity and regulatory compliance
- Maintains awareness of emerging science and competitor activities; applies insights to optimize study design and execution
- Reviews and provides input on protocols, reports, and publications
Team Leadership:
- Provides guideance to a team of clinical scientists and physicians, fostering collaboration and high performance
- Promotes innovation and operational excellence within early development teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partners with Research, Clinical Pharmacology, Regulatory, and Clinical Operations to ensure alignment and smooth execution
- Participates in governance discussions and provides recommendations to support decision-making
External Engagement:
- Represents the organization in scientific forums and with key opinion leaders as appropriate
- Supports preliminary evaluations for potential in-licensing opportunities
- MD or MD/PhD in relevant medical specialty/Therapeutic Area required
- Cell therapy experience
- Scientific Expertise: Solid understanding of disease biology, clinical trial design, and translational medicine
- Leadership: Ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams
- Strategic Execution: Skilled in implementing clinical plans aligned with TA objectives
- Communication: Strong ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with global drug development and compliance requirements
- Innovation: Experience applying novel approaches in early clinical development
Eligibility Requirements :
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $280,000 to $441,000. The position may be eligible for a role specific discretionary bonus, relocation, and/or other compensation elements. We continuously review market data and may adjust salary ranges as needed in the future.
