This role involves managing a diverse caseload of employment-based and/or family-based immigration matters, advising clients on U.S. immigration strategy, and representing individuals and businesses before U.S.
immigration agencies.The ideal candidate is client-focused, organized, and confident navigating complex immigration regulations while delivering practical, timely solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end immigration cases, including strategy, drafting, filing, and follow-upPrepare and review immigration petitions and applications such as:H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-3PERM labor certificationsI-140, I-485, adjustment of statusFamily-based petitions and consular processing (if applicable)Advise corporate and individual clients on immigration options, compliance, and riskCommunicate directly with clients, government agencies, and internal stakeholdersRespond to RFEs, NOIDs, and other agency correspondenceStay current on immigration laws, policies, and regulatory changesMaintain accurate case records and meet strict filing deadlinesQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive license and good standing with a U.S. state bar (NY preferred)2+ years of immigration law experience (employment-based preferred; family-based a plus)Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and proceduresExcellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of professionalism and client service orientationPreferred QualificationsExperience with high-volume corporate immigrationFamiliarity with case management systems (e.g., Docketwise, INSZoom, LawLogix)Prior experience working with startups, tech companies, or multinational clientsBilingual abilities (a plus, not required)Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary ($130,000-$250,000) Depending on experiencePerformance-based bonusesHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysProfessional development and CLE support
