What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Review medical reports and records to ensure completeness and accuracy, addressing all client questions
- Communicate effectively with clients and reviewers to clarify any additional questions or concerns
- Update clients frequently on the progress of referrals
- Ensure reports are grammatically correct and adhere to quality assurance checklists
- Format reports for approval and manage special projects as assigned
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate information to clients and colleagues
- Proficiency in technology-based processes within a business environment
- Essential computer literacy and typing skills
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Previous experience in quality analysis or similar roles in the healthcare industry
- Familiarity with peer review processes and medical terminology
