Your Key Responsibilities
- Employ both radiographic and CT techniques to generate clear and diagnostic images for doctors' evaluations
- Work closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to facilitate accurate assessments
- Ensure optimal imaging by correctly positioning patients and adjusting equipment
- Implement radiation safety protocols to protect patients and colleagues
- Maintain accurate documentation, including imaging records and machine upkeep
- Create a comforting atmosphere for patients throughout their imaging experience
- Help ensure a safe and well-organized imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree will be an asset
- Completion of a program accredited in radiology
- ARRT Certification (CT and/or Radiography) is required
- Current BLS certification or the ability to secure it within 90 days of hire
- Expertise in imaging protocols and adherence to safety guidelines
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both patients and team members
