Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize radiographic and CT techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician analysis
  • Work closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses
  • Accurately position patients and adjust equipment settings for optimum imaging
  • Implement radiation safety protocols for the protection of patients and colleagues
  • Keep accurate records, including imaging logs and equipment maintenance documentation
  • Deliver compassionate care and support to patients throughout the scanning process
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment
Educational Background
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; a Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Graduation from an accredited radiology program
Certifications Needed
  • ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography)
  • Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire
Essential Skills
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety regulations
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for communicating effectively with patients and team members
  • Quick adaptability to changing environments and situations
