Key Responsibilities
- Utilize radiographic and CT techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician analysis
- Work closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses
- Accurately position patients and adjust equipment settings for optimum imaging
- Implement radiation safety protocols for the protection of patients and colleagues
- Keep accurate records, including imaging logs and equipment maintenance documentation
- Deliver compassionate care and support to patients throughout the scanning process
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; a Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Graduation from an accredited radiology program
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography)
- Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety regulations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for communicating effectively with patients and team members
- Quick adaptability to changing environments and situations
- A keen attention to detail and an abiding sense of responsibility
- Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
