Your Responsibilities Include
- Employing radiographic and CT techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physicians
- Collaborating closely with radiologists and care teams to facilitate accurate diagnoses
- Properly positioning patients and calibrating imaging equipment to achieve optimal results
- Adhering to radiation safety protocols to safeguard both patients and colleagues
- Maintaining precise documentation, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep records
- Providing compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process
- Helping foster a safe and efficient imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Graduation from an accredited radiology program is essential
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography)
- Current BLS certification or acquired within 90 days of hire
- Strong proficiency in diagnostic imaging methods and safety regulations
- Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with patients and fellow healthcare staff
- Adept at working in a bustling environment and adjusting to fluctuating needs
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and current imaging software
