Your Key Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced radiographic and CT imaging techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician evaluation
- Engage collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure the highest standards of diagnosis
- Position patients effectively and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal imaging quality
- Adhere rigorously to safety protocols to protect both patients and team members from radiation exposure
- Keep meticulous records related to imaging logs and equipment maintenance
- Deliver empathetic patient care before, during, and after imaging procedures
- Foster a safe, organized, and efficient imaging space
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Completion of an accredited radiology program is essential
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is mandatory
- BLS certification must be current or obtained within 90 days of hire
- Expertise in diagnostic imaging procedures and compliance with safety standards
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams
