The Imaging Engineer Trainee is an entry-level developmental role designed to prepare candidates for advancement into a Customer Service Engineer position. This structured training program focuses on building foundational technical and interpersonal skills, safety awareness, and professional competencies through hands-on experience, guided field exposure, and formal training. Successful completion of the program—along with demonstrated readiness and leadership approval—will lead to eligibility for transition into a Customer Service Engineer role.

The Medical Imaging Service Academy allows you to get paid to learn!
Our comprehensive, experiential, 15-week training program will set you up for success in the Bio-Medical industry. Our industry is thriving, and the future is bright. Become a part of the team who helps build relationships with customers, helping them to navigate the evolving healthcare landscape.
Some things to know:
- Temporary housing and/or stipend will be offered during training program
- Company vehicle will be provided while in Cary, NC
- The intention of this program is to develop early-career service professionals to join our organization and grow their careers with us.
Compensation: During the 15 week program, you will be paid $1,925 Bi-Weekly
Key Responsibilities
- Complete onboarding, compliance, safety, and technical training
- Assist Customer Service Engineers with service preparation, tools, and documentation
- Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Meet developmental milestones and performance expectations
- Develop communication and customer interaction skills
- Observe field service activities to build technical knowledge
- Maintain awareness of equipment control and handling
- Demonstrate readiness for transition to Customer Service Engineer Role
- Relocate as required for business needs
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid driver's license & eligible to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Willing to move to Cary, NC for Medical Imaging Service Academy
- Must be open to company sponsored relocation and placement in a service region/territory anywhere in the U.S. after program completion for Customer Service Engineer I position
This role is governed by our Fleet Safety Policy. To be eligible for employment, applicants must hold a valid driver's license in the state they reside and may not have any prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations (unless such a restriction is prohibited by state/local law).
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Walk, stand, sit, bend, twist, squat
- Climb ladders or stepstools
- Perform fine manipulation tasks
- Work independently in field environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering experience
- Prior technical or hands-on experience
