Illinois Licensed TeleNurse

To support patient care, the part-time Illinois Licensed TeleNurse will triage incoming patient calls, provide education and resources, and manage patient appointments while working remotely. Key responsibilities Apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs during triage calls Identify emergencies and recommend appropriate interventions, including facilitating ambulance transportation Document patient interactions and maintain statistical data as required Required qualifications Current Illinois RN licensure and graduation from an accredited nursing program Minimum of three years of clinical experience in an acute ambulatory or acute care setting Experience in emergency room or home health preferred Basic typing skills of 40 wpm or greater and intermediate computer skills Ability to work every other weekend and 4-5 out of 9 recognized holidays per year
