Illinois Licensed TeleNurse

To support patient care, the part-time Illinois Licensed TeleNurse will triage incoming patient calls, provide medical advice, and maintain accurate documentation while working remotely on a flexible schedule that includes weekends. Key responsibilities Apply the Nursing Process to assess and triage patients effectively over the phone Communicate calmly and clearly to provide appropriate medical advice and interventions Document all patient interactions and maintain statistical data as required Required qualifications Current Illinois RN licensure and graduation from an accredited nursing program Minimum of three years of clinical experience in an acute ambulatory or acute care setting Experience in emergency room or home health preferred Basic typing skills at 40 wpm or greater and intermediate computer proficiency Ability to work every other weekend and 4-5 recognized holidays per year
