To support a growing practice, the full-time Illinois Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' mental and physical health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, and provide individual psychotherapy remotely. Key responsibilities Assess patients' mental and physical status, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and conduct individual psychotherapy Prescribe psychotropic medications, monitor patient medication usage and side effects, and educate patients and families about treatment options Document medical histories, treatment plans, and outcomes while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and national standards of care Required qualifications 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner Currently holds a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP) Experience in Addiction and Mental Health, with comfort working with patients across the lifespan (ages 13+) Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and/or substance abuse dual-diagnoses Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and timely documentation
