Working fully remote, the full-time Illinois Licensed Billing Pharmacy Technician will manage billing processes for resident prescriptions, ensuring accurate profile entry and effective communication with community staff and residents while advocating for their needs. Key responsibilities Process and follow up on billing for resident prescriptions, including adjudicating insurance claims and completing prior authorization forms Provide customer service through phone and email communications, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries Generate monthly statements, process payments, and reconcile third-party claims while analyzing reports for compliance and training opportunities Required qualifications Minimum of one year of pharmacy billing experience At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience High School Diploma or equivalent Licensed and in good standing as an Illinois Pharmacy Technician National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) preferred
