Key responsibilities Collects, posts, and manages patient account payments and prepares patient statements Codes medical claims accurately and sends them electronically to insurance payers daily Handles inbound and outbound calls, assisting patients with insurance questions and verifying coverage Required qualifications Official High School Transcripts, Diploma, or Equivalency Certificate Ability to navigate between different tabs and systems on the computer while attending phone calls CPB or other Medical Billing Certification desired, but not required CPC or Medical Coding Certification desired, but not required
