IE Manufacturing TechnicianWe are seeking a dependable and organized IE Manufacturing Technician to support production operations by managing inventory, ordering supplies, and assembling production equipment and workstations. This role is responsible for maintaining the tool crib, ensuring materials and equipment are available when needed, and supporting efficient production setup and workflow.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain organization and inventory accuracy within the tool crib and storage areasOrder tools, parts, supplies, and consumable materials required for production operationsTrack inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock quantitiesReceive, inspect, label, and stock incoming materials and equipmentAssemble production tables, workstations, racks, carts, and other work equipment as neededCoordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to support operational needsIssue and track tools, equipment, and supplies to employees and departmentsMaintain records of inventory usage, purchase orders, and equipment assignmentsPerform routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper condition and functionalitySupport workplace organization and 5S initiativesAssist with moving, installing, or reconfiguring production equipment and work areasFollow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environmentRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, tool crib management, or manufacturing support preferredBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble equipment using hand and power toolsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to operate basic computer systems and inventory softwareGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to lift and move materials and equipment as requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience with purchasing or supply ordering processesFamiliarity with manufacturing or industrial environmentsForklift certification or material handling experienceKnowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing, or inventory management practicesExperience using ERP or inventory tracking systemsWork EnvironmentManufacturing plant or warehouse environmentFrequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and material handlingMay involve use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and material handling equipmentExposure to production equipment and industrial noise levelsSample Job Title VariationsTool Crib TechnicianTool Room AttendantProduction Support TechnicianInventory & Tooling TechnicianManufacturing Support TechnicianTooling and Supply Coordinator
