Job Description Summary:
Fenwick is seeking an Identity System Engineer. The Identity System Engineer's main responsibilities
are the design, implementation, operations, maintenance, and improvement of all communications
systems including Active Directory, Teams, Email, SPAM Management, and related systems. This
position also participates on all IT related projects and is expected to provide cost effective solutions
which meet the Firm's needs. This position can be based in any of our U.S. office locations.
Job Description:
• Administrates Azure/On-Prem Active Directory, Teams, Exchange Online, and Office 365.
• Works in conjunction with our Security Team to ensure client specific needs and system
requirements are met.
• Develop and document our identity related systems and services.
• System upgrades and regular maintenance.
• Monitors all communication systems and applications in the production environment to
ensure optimum system performance and availability.
• Designs, develops and delivers training for support and Service Desk staff to ensure proper
maintenance for all supported services.
• Provide guidance for security best practices as they relate to supported systems.
• Solves escalated problems from the Service Desk or other staff members.
• Serves as a point of contact and liaison with vendors; reviews vendor products/services and
coordinates and presentations.
• Maintains a broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Design, configure, and administrate Active Directory, Teams, Exchange Online, Office 365.
• Analyze and assess complex situations and determine cost-effective solutions.
• Knowledge transfer to other internal teammates.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Security principles, related applications, procedures and techniques.
• Plan, develop and coordinate multiple high priority projects.
• Knowledge of contract documents and specifications.
• Utilize Powershell.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to deal responsibly with sensitive and confidential information.
• Ability to function in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 year's
experience in the design, installation and maintenance of server, network, communications /
messaging, telecommunications and storage systems, preferably in the legal industry. Experience
with MS Active Directory including cross-forest/domain trust relationships, recovery services,
federation services, etc. Experience with Intune/Mobile Device Management and Cisco Telephony /
CUCM a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred.
