Identity & Access Governance Lead

Location: Remote

Contract: 1 Year – 75 hours per week

We are seeking a skilled Identity & Access Governance Lead with a strong background in data management and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implementation of Data Access Governance through Immuta to establish and deploy access control policies for datasets migrated to the client’s EDW.
2. Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the proposed platform meets compliance, security, and data privacy requirements.
3. Collaborate with the Data Platform Architect to ensure proper data access, sharing, and management across the platform.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance strategies and best practices.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience in Data Access Governance and data protection operations.
• Understanding of Open Access Remediation, structured and unstructured data discovery and classification of PII, PHI, PCI data, data sharing, user access management, RBAC, and ABAC concepts.
• Ability to identify data privacy related gaps in the current state and recommend gap remediation measures.
• Ability to define privacy policies, data masking and anonymization solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Proficiency in data management and analytics tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience in client‑facing roles, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
