Program Specialist – Join Our Team at Global Adult Care Services LLC

At Global Adult Care Services LLC, we believe in creating a supportive, positive environment for both the individuals we serve and the staff who care for them. We are currently looking for a compassionate and organized Program Specialist who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working closely with people, staying organized, and helping a team succeed. The Program Specialist helps guide Individual Support Plans (ISPs), supports staff, and works alongside families and community partners to ensure each person receives thoughtful, person-centered care.

What You’ll Be Doing

Helping complete assessments and develop Individual Support Plans (ISPs)

Leading plan meetings and updating goals as needs change

Tracking progress and celebrating growth

Keeping records and documentation organized and up to date

Communicating openly with families, staff, and team members

Training and supporting Direct Support Professionals

Reviewing documentation to ensure quality and consistency

Assisting with medical appointments and health record updates

Supporting medication documentation and processes

Encouraging meaningful community involvement and activities

Researching new opportunities and resources for individuals

Helping during challenging situations with calm, supportive leadership

Pitching in when extra support is needed

Qualification

• Master’s degree and 1 year of direct experience supporting individuals with ID/A

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of direct experience

• Associate degree or 60 college credits and 4 years of direct experience
