We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ICU RN to join our team in a 221-bed acute care setting serving the Seminole and West Volusia County communities. This facility features a Level II Trauma Center, a full-service cardiovascular program including open-heart surgery and interventional cardiology and a wide range of specialty services including orthopedics, spine care, robotic surgery, inpatient rehab, and comprehensive imaging.
The ICU RN will care for critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring, complex assessment, and advanced clinical judgment. You will work in a collaborative environment where teamwork and high-quality patient care are top priorities.
Responsibilities
Collect comprehensive assessment data pertinent to the patients condition
Utilize strong clinical judgment to provide safe, effective patient care
Monitor and respond to critical changes in patient status
Advocate for patients as part of a multidisciplinary team
Educate patients and families about treatments, medications, and procedures
Support patients and families throughout their stay
Qualifications
1+ years of recent ICU acute care experience Required
Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license
Compact license holders must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred
NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of hire
BLS within 30 days of hire
ACLS (AHA) within 6 months of hire
PALS or PALS Instructor within 6 months of hire
