ICU/CCU Registered Nurse

Overview

ICU/CCU Registered Nurse (RN) role at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. Joint Commission-certified staffing agency seeking a quality ICU/CCU RN for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education/support to patients and their families.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
• Monitor patient vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, respiration) for signs of distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures to promptly control changes in patient condition.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility
