Introduction:
Want to work where AI, hyperscale data centers, networking, and next-generation infrastructure converge? Join an industry leader whose technology powers many of the world's largest tech companies. Profitable, highly respected, and at the forefront of the cutting-edge technologies driving the future of AI computing.
Join a team responsible for validating next-generation storage and PCIe switch semiconductor products, ensuring they meet industry standards and perform reliably in real-world applications. Working closely with hardware and software development engineers, you'll play a key role in testing, debugging, and characterizing new products throughout the development lifecycle. This is a hands-on laboratory role that leverages state-of-the-art equipment to support both pre-silicon (emulation) and post-silicon validation of cutting-edge storage and connectivity technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Create, review, and execute comprehensive validation test plans across emulation environments and early silicon platforms.
- Develop embedded firmware and host-side software utilities in C/C++ to support low-level system validation and testing.
- Design and maintain scripts that automate validation workflows and control protocol analyzers, exercisers, and other lab equipment.
- Partner closely with software, FPGA, and IC design teams throughout both pre-silicon and post-silicon validation activities.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams on board validation, reference platform development, and new product requirements.
- Lead root-cause analysis and debug efforts for complex system-level issues, developing creative solutions and effective workarounds as needed.
- Support customers and partners during initial silicon bring-up, system integration, and troubleshooting activities.
- Communicate technical findings clearly to engineering teams and provide product training and guidance to field engineering organizations.
- Contribute to technical documentation, including application notes, datasheets, user guides, and architecture specifications.
