IAM Integration Engineer

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Okta administration, integrations, and SSO solutions
• Strong experience with Okta Identity Engine
• Experience building and managing SAML and OIDC integrations
• Hands-on experience with Okta APIs, OAuth authorization servers, scopes, service accounts, and API tokens
• Experience developing and maintaining Okta Inline Hooks and Okta Workflows
• Experience managing cloud resources using Infrastructure-as-Code tool such as Pulumi or Terraform
• Ability to independently lead and own multiple projects.
• Experience deploying cloud resources through Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Experience integrating enterprise applications and APIs
• Strong documentation, stakeholder communication, and solution design skills
• Self-starter mentality with ability to assess current state and drive improvements

• Okta Certified Developer or Technical Architect certification

This individual will serve as the primary owner of the organization's Okta, SSO, MFA, and identity integration initiatives, stepping into a critical highly visible role supporting critical integration projects. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Okta professional who can independently architect, implement, and support identity and access management solutions while collaborating with developers, architects, and business stakeholders. This engineer will lead the delivery of SAML/OIDC integrations, Okta workflows, API-based solutions, and infrastructure-as-code deployments, while helping standardize and scale the organization's identity ecosystem. They will also serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting authentication, application access, and identity related issues. The team is looking for an experienced self-starter who can immediately add value, drive projects forward, and serve as a trusted technical resource without requiring significant oversight.
