IAM Engineer

Location: Grand Rapid, MI (Remote) Locals First Preference Secondary can be in any of these states, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin This is a remote role but client first preference is someone who can work onsite in hybrid work schedule like 2-3 days onsite and couple of days remote can be offered Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Skills:

• Background of identity governance tools like One Identity, SailPoint.
• Understanding of general Identity and Access Management and IT Security principles
• Functional knowledge of Active Directory Users and Groups
• Basic SQL & PowerShell skills
• Excellent at problem solving and follow up.
• RBAC, ABAC, and PBAC are implemented.
• Nice to have:.Net, API based integration.

Responsibilities:

• Work with other teams, vendors, and service providers to implement best practices with identity governance.
• Proactively identify gaps in the system and brainstorm potential solutions
• Review incident tickets and work orders, follow up with users to ensure addressing their concerns in a timely manner!
• Other responsibilities as required.

Manager Notes:

• HM is not looking for specific years of experience, he is focused on technical aptitude!
• HM is looking for at least 1 strong technical candidate and one median technical candidate with managerial experience. He is flexible on the two candidates.
• The HM needs the candidates to be able to identify abnormalities in security-based systems. Ask the questions to the actual developers etc. Please share resumes on
