IAM Engineer III (Remote Job)

Location: Richmond, VA

Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop, implement, and document configuration standards, policies, and procedures for operating, managing, and ensuring the security of the IAM Infrastructure including Active Directory, Azure, LDAP and supporting infrastructure.
  • Perform regular patching and maintenance for the IAM infrastructure.
  • Take lead roles in acquisitions, divestitures on items related to directory consolidation or divestitures.
  • Integrate applications using SAML, OAuth, and other SSO protocols.
  • Provide premier support for escalation support involving security, authentication, and performance.
  • Support the companies cloud initiative by providing support and building RBAC for support teams.
  • Support and maintain Privileged Account Management solution(s), including all integrations of new environments or systems.
  • Work with PowerShell, REST, and other languages in support of automation and maintenance of the environment.
  • Work closely with other infrastructure support team to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
  • Escalate and brief management with precise information about system availability, performance and readiness
  • Participate in all aspects of Information Security Operations including an on-call rotation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Required:
  • 5 plus years’ hands on experience in a Systems Administration role with a focus on identity and integration.
  • Candidates have a thorough command of IAM technology or systems.
  • 5 plus years’ experience with PAM/PIM solutions like CyberArk and Azure.
  • 3 plus years’ experience with cloud services such as AWS.
  • Experience with Capture tools like Wireshark, Fiddler, and SAML-Tracer.
  • Candidates have deep expertise and accomplishments in credential management.
  • Candidates have experience in PowerShell and other scripting languages.
  • Candidates have a strong working knowledge of REST and OpenGraph.
  • Must be team-oriented, placing priority on quality and the successful completion of team goals
  • An understanding of TCP/IP, common network protocols, and applications.
  • An understanding of operating systems: Microsoft Windows and Linux
  • An understanding of Active Directory, Azure/O365, Google Cloud, and LDAP
  • An understanding of PKI services including Microsoft ADCS
Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science a plus.
  • Security-related industry certifications a plus (CISSP, GIAC, E-Council, etc.)
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • 5 plus years’ hands on experience as a system administrator in the Identity and Access Management space.
