Discover your full potential – join us to advance your career while leaving a lasting legacy.Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking an Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Technician with a strong mechanical/electronic background to perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for automated fuel distribution system monitoring and control equipment such as sensors, valves, motors, PLCs, and SCADA systems related to the Hydrant Fueling Automation Maintenance (HFAM) Support Program. Prior experience in electrical maintenance and instrumentation on automated Federal aviation fueling systems preferred. Candidates will be considered for field activities serving our federal sector clients at CONUS and OCONUS locations. The I&E Technician will:Perform preventive maintenance tasksPerform corrective maintenance tasksPerform failure analysis and implement improvementsCalibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydrant fueling automation system controls, valves, and instrumentsTroubleshoot and repair control circuits and motor control centersMount, wire, program, and test instrumentation and control equipmentWrite reports and record data on testing techniques, equipment, and specificationsEnter work order information into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) databaseMaintain effective communications with clients, subcontractors, and internal team membersSchedule and conduct on-site meetings with clients and subcontractors as requiredContinually update knowledge of automated fuel distribution systems and instrumentationConduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standardsWork in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concernsManage multiple tasks simultaneously and in a timely manner to meet deadlinesWork independently or with others as a team to complete assigned projectsTravel as needed, approximately 75%Work overtime as requiredPerform additional duties as requiredTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
