Work with a team of engineers to support the hardware design and delivery of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) cabinets and associated electro-mechanical hardware components and subassemblies. Ensure that hardware designs and project documentation meet applicable system & quality requirements.
Work with manufacturing operations to resolve issues, provide oversight, and ensure products are in accordance with build-to-print drawing packages and specifications. You will report to the I&C Safety Systems Manager and be located at our New Stanton, PA site. The position is hybrid; you will be onsite 2 days per week.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review technical packages including drawings, specifications, and hardware requirementsPerform review of hardware design, review in the area of system architecture, cabinet layout, Bill of Material design, system cabling interface, custom panel and kit design, cabinet power design.Work as part of a team including quality engineering, supply chain management, marketing, customer service, manufacturing and the supplier baseProvide support for SAP Material Master, Bill of Materials, and Routing maintenance. Additionally, support Engineering Change Order (ECO), Manufacturing Work Order (MWO), and RFQ/Sales Order review.Develop and perform Commercial Dedication Instruction (CDI) documentsWork with engineering and shop operations teams to provide technical support on solution identification, obsolescence management, equipment qualification, product lifecycle and new product introductionSupport product marketing and sales efforts through offer development support, marketing materials updating / generation, and presentation material for both customers and WPB salesEstablish equipment setups/monitoring for seismic, environmental, and EMC tests.
