HydroVac Operator - CDL A or B (Construction) Day and Night shifts

HydroVac OperatorWe are seeking a skilled and safety-focused HydroVac Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating hydro excavation equipment to safely expose underground utilities, support construction projects, and maintain job site efficiency. The ideal candidate has experience with vacuum trucks, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.Key Responsibilities:Operate hydro excavation (HydroVac) trucks and associated equipment safely and efficientlyPerform daylighting, trenching, and potholing to expose underground utilitiesConduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipmentFollow all company safety policies and regulatory requirementsCommunicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and clients on-siteComplete required job documentation, including daily logs and safety reportsEnsure work areas are clean, organized, and hazard-freeQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferredValid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required (Class A or B, as applicable)Previous experience operating HydroVac or similar heavy equipment preferredStrong understanding of safety procedures and underground utility practicesAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsPhysically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual laborStrong work ethic and reliabilityPreferred Skills:Knowledge of DOT regulations and excavation standardsExperience working in construction, utilities, or oil & gas industriesMechanical aptitude for minor equipment troubleshooting
