HYDROBLAST TECHNICIAN
* Operate high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure water-jetting equipment for industrial cleaning, maintenance, and surface preparation.
* Perform hydroblasting of tanks, vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems, concrete surfaces, and other industrial equipment.
* Remove scale, corrosion, coatings, deposits, and contaminants in accordance with job specifications.
* Set up, inspect, operate, and dismantle high-pressure pumps, hoses, fittings, nozzles, and associated equipment.
* Conduct pre-job and post-job equipment inspections to ensure safe and reliable operation.
* Maintain exclusion zones and follow established hydroblasting, confined-space, lockout/tagout, PPE, and industrial safety procedures.
* Identify equipment defects, unsafe conditions, and operational issues and promptly communicate them to supervisors.
* Assist with industrial vacuum equipment, vacuum trucks, and other specialty cleaning operations as required.
* Maintain clean and organized work areas and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
* Complete required work documentation, equipment inspections, and job-related records.
* Work effectively as part of a crew while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
* Work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs when required.
