Hydrovac Operator

Reports to: Regional Equipment Manager

Position Summary

The hydrovac operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of specialized hydrovac equipment to support environmental services provided by Titan Solutions. This position requires a high level of commitment to safety, reliability, and professional conduct.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operation and maintenance of hydrovac and other related equipment
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Routine maintenance and safe transport of equipment
• Assisting, solving, and troubleshooting any technical challenges
• Maintaining and obtaining all required certifications and training requirements
• Communicating and cooperating with co-workers and management
• Driving a company vehicle while on duty in a legal, safe, and professional manner
• Performing tasks in teams and solo
• Presenting oneself and representing Titan in a professional manner
• Maintaining appropriate work relationships
• Following all company policies and procedures
• Assisting other divisions and other tasks from time to time as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Ability to drive a Company Vehicle in a legal, safe, and professional manner
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
• Demonstrate leadership skills in previous positions

Education:

High School Diploma or GED preferred, basic math skills required

Job Experience:

Mechanical knowledge

Computer Proficiency: Not required

Training: We will provide necessary safety training.

Requirements:

• Preferred Class A CDL
• Capability to work in extreme weather conditions such as heat/cold/wind/rain/snow
• Must pass pre-employment testing including a fit test

Travel Requirements:

Must be able to travel out of town or state. Travel less than 10% of time.

Pay Range:

Pay is based on performance, competencies - $28 to $37.
