Hydraulic TechnicianKoil Energy is seeking a hands-on, motivated Hydraulic Technician. This role is responsible for the preparation, maintenance, troubleshooting, mobilization, and execution of subsea and hydraulic equipment projects while ensuring equipment reliability, operational readiness, and compliance with project procedures and safety standards.Asset Management & MaintenanceAssist the Asset Manager with equipment upkeep, repairs, and day-to-day maintenance activitiesDevelop and implement Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP) plans across equipment fleetsSupport troubleshooting and repair efforts for offshore and onshore equipment failuresDrive improvements in equipment reliability and maintenance processesSupport Assembly & Service Teams with onshore preparation and offshore execution activities as neededOnshore Preparation & MobilizationPerform mobilization and demobilization equipment inspections and required testingRecord equipment serial numbers and quantities while ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose and within calibration/certification requirementsEnsure worksite operations are planned and executed in accordance with project procedures and safety standardsRepair and maintain equipment as directed by the Asset ManagerOffshore ExecutionSupport subsea hardware installations and umbilical pre-commissioning work scopesFollow operational procedures and assist with maintaining records and test reportsMaintain daily operational reports as requiredWork in accordance with Company Safety Systems and offshore safety requirementsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPrior experience with Doggett / CAT equipment strongly preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong hands-on experience with hydraulic pumps, motors, gearboxes, and hose maintenanceProven hydraulic troubleshooting and diagnostics experienceElectrical experience preferred, including radio remotes and pump control systemsExperience developing and managing Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP) plansPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands and armsFrequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reachMust be able to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsMust be capable of working offshore, onshore, and overseas for extended durationsWork EnvironmentPrimarily outdoor work in a smoke-free environmentExposure to varying weather conditions and moderate to high noise levelsProper PPE is required at all timesTravel is regularly required and may include offshore assignments and international travelKoil Energy is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
