Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Attorney with 2-3+ years of unlawful detainer experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of landlord-tenant disputes, eviction proceedings, and real estate litigation. This role requires a proactive attorney who can manage a high-volume caseload while providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle unlawful detainer cases from inception to resolution
- Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests
- Represent clients in court for hearings, trials, and mediations
- Advise property owners, landlords, and property managers on eviction matters
- Manage negotiations and settlements effectively
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic counsel to clients
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 2-3+ years of experience in unlawful detainer, landlord-tenant disputes, and real estate litigation
- Strong knowledge of California landlord-tenant laws and eviction procedures
- Excellent litigation, negotiation, and client communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
- Active membership in the California State Bar
