Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Maintenance: Keep every room and public space in tip‑top shape, meeting company standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and manage the engineering squad; schedule shifts and cultivate high performance.
• Safety: Conduct fire safety inspections and drills, ensuring the safety of guests and staff.
• Guest Service: Respond to maintenance requests and support guest service excellence.
• Property Surveillance: Patrol grounds, manage debris, handle “Lost and Found,” and maintain overall appearance.
• Security & Access: Gain authorized access to sensitive areas and represent the company with integrity.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 5 years of hotel or related experience, or a 2‑year degree with 3+ years, or a 4‑year degree with 2+ years.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Current certifications as required (e.g., HVAC, pool, electrical).
• License to operate/repair boilers and chillers per local laws.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Financial and arithmetic proficiency.
