HVAC Technician – Commercial/Industrial
We're hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician for a full-time onsite opportunity.
We're looking for someone who can independently diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues rather than someone whose experience is primarily installation or residential work.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC systems
- Performing preventive maintenance
- Working on AHUs, RTUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, and exhaust systems
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control-related problems
- Working with HVAC controls and building automation systems
- Performing startup, testing, commissioning, and calibration
- Reading wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and sequences of operation
- Documenting completed work and identified issues
Ideal background:
- 4+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience
- Comfortable working independently
- Building automation/HVAC controls knowledge
- Experience with large commercial or industrial HVAC equipment
- EPA certification or HVAC technical training is a plus
