Systems up to 50 tons minimumUnderstanding of Hydronic piping systems for hot water/chill water/condenser water, piping installation skillsSheet metal design knowledge with the ability to produce drawings to submit to a fabrication shop to make the order / sheet metal installation skills.Understanding of refrigeration piping systems, the ability to size the piping systems from manufacturer requirements.Understanding of Light Commercial low voltage control systems and diagnostic skills.Physical Requirements:Must be able to work outside in all weather conditionsAbility to work at heightsMust be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 25 lbs.Must be able to climb and work on ladders, scaffolding and stairsMust be able to stand for long periods of time as well as stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl in order to work in tight spacesMust be able to work within confined spacesMust be able to communicate effectively with employees and customersMust be able to use hands to reach for, grasp and manipulate objectsEducation and Experience Requirements:Must be a high school or trade school graduate or have a GEDJourneyman license preferredMust hold a Universal Refrigerant certificateOSHA 10-Hour Certification required as a minimum, additional training may be required.Leadership experience preferred1 to 3 years' experience of HVAC installationStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various HVAC equipmentValid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy
