Job Duties:
- Perform routine summer and winter maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Diagnose and repair heating and cooling equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues using wiring schematics
- Properly measure and interpret superheat and subcooling
- Accurately diagnose system performance and efficiency problems
- Order necessary parts and maintain accurate service records
- Provide excellent customer service on every call
- Occasional after-hours or on-call rotation will be required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician (residential experience required, small commercial a plus)
- Strong working knowledge of superheat/subcooling, refrigeration cycle, and troubleshooting
- schematics
- EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
