This is a full time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean/Director of Education. As the leader of the program, the Program Director is responsible for managing the department using sound business principles and ensuring compliance with all regulatory, accreditation and company policies and procedures.

This position requires some evening and Saturday hours.The Program Director teaches in his/her assigned discipline, works with faculty to promote continuous improvement of the quality of instruction within the assigned program(s), is the lead administrator for the department, and, as such, is responsible for faculty training and development, coordinating and administering the academic program(s) and student outcomes and activities within the department.Job RequirementsCompletion of an HVAC/R program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; associate degree preferredCertrifcations:HVAC - RequiredEPA Universal - RequiredHVAC Journeyman - not required but highly desiredExpertise in interpersonal and verbal presentation/written communication skillsAbility to provide effective direction and leadership and work effectively and collaboratively with othersMinimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician or similar positionPrior higher education/postsecondary related teaching experience of at least 2 yearsAssociate degree required Job DetailsJob Type: Full-timeCategory: HVACSalaried: Salaried
