Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Essential Functions:Manage the maintenance and general upkeep of chilled water plants / hydronic cooling systems ranging from tons or more, to include centrifugal chiller operation, chilled and condenser water pumps, cooling towers, air management, water chemistry Building Automation Controls, and associated ancillary equipmentAccess Building Automation Systems to evaluate plants and large HVAC equipment for proper operation, adjust setpoints and schedules, perform equipment rotations, remotely troubleshoot malfunctions, read and act upon alarmsInstalls, services, modifies, rebuilds, and repairs air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment in an industrial or commercial establishment in accordance with applicable building codes and safety regulationsDiagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions, then performing the appropriate HVAC system repairsService evaporative condensers, exhaust fans, water-source heat pumps, Liebert CRAC units, and heating equipmentCharges air-conditioning systems with refrigerant; checks and tests for leaksReceive and execute work orders through a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to maintain accurate recordsOccasionally assist other trades, including electrical, plumbing, maintenance mechanics, etc.All other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications for a Level 3 HVAC Mechanic:High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience servicing large commercial HVAC, Chillers, Cooling Tower, Plumbing and Mechanical SystemsValid Florida Driver's license with the ability to safely operate large box truck weighing 10,001 – 26,000 lbsMust be capable of lifting 50+lbs, climbing a ladder, reaching overhead, bending down, full use of both hands, withstanding extreme temperature and/or humidityMust have an EPA 608 certificationMust have the flexibility to occasionally work off shifts and weekends when required. Position may be flexed to second shiftMust be able to transfer or obtain and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. Government Top-Secret Clearance and any program accesses required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the enterprisePreferred Qualifications:Maximo ExperienceFlexibility to occasionally work off shifts and weekends when requiredWelding and/or pipefitting experience/certificationActive, In scope DoD Top Secret or SCI clearanceExperience modifying/installing duct workExperience working in classified spaces, in or around engineering and manufacturing environmentsVocational and/or post-secondary educationExperience with moving heavy equipment (pallet jack, wheel truck, forklifts, scissor lifts, booms lifts)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management and organizational skillsPositive customer service experienceWe offer phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly collaborative workplace. We also offer exceptional benefits/healthcare, a 9/80 schedule, and a great 401K matching program.Primary Level Salary Range: $62,700.00 - $104,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
