We're seeking a Junior Estimator to join a growing industrial construction team in Matthews, NC . This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in estimating while working alongside experienced industry professionals.
Responsibilities:
Review RFQs, RFPs, drawings, specifications, and bid documents
Perform material and labor takeoffs
Obtain vendor and subcontractor pricing
Assist with project estimates, cost analysis, and bid preparation
Develop relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors
Support large-scale industrial HVAC and sheet metal construction projects
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field plus 1+ year of industrial HVAC/sheet metal estimating experience , OR
3+ years of industrial HVAC/sheet metal estimating experience xhqgsiq
Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with QuickPen or similar estimating software is a plus
Compensation: $70,000-$80,000
