Duties include managing the software and calibration activities for the development, testing and release to production of in-house software strategies and calibrations that meet vehicle and system level functional objectives. These duties include climate comfort objectives, energy optimization for electrified vehicles and control strategies for heat pump system including interface with other vehicle controllers. Duties also include developing new software control strategies and requirements along with addressing issues identified in the current software and calibrations. This will include a combination of virtual methods, test bench development and vehicle level development. Engineer will work with a global team of software engineers, validation engineers, release engineers, systems engineers and hardware suppliers to meet program deliverables and milestones.
