Snapshot / Role Overview:
We're seeking an HVAC Chiller Technician in Houston, TX to service and repair commercial chillers and central plant equipment for a growing service team.
Impact:
- Keep customer cooling plants online through skilled field service.
- Extend equipment life with disciplined preventive maintenance.
- Reduce emergency calls by identifying issues during scheduled visits.
- Support account growth through strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial chillers.
- Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, and control system faults.
- Complete component replacement, brazing, and pressure testing.
- Recover and charge refrigerant according to regulations.
- Start up and test equipment after installation or repair.
- Document findings and recommend corrective work to customers.
- Coordinate with dispatch, parts, and project teams on job progress.
- Follow all safety procedures and site requirements.
