Human Services Program CoordinatorTitle: Human Services Program CoordinatorState Role Title: Prog Admin Specialist IIHiring Range: $29.71 - $35.07Pay Band: 5Agency: Virginia Department of HealthLocation: VDH-Central OfficeJob DutiesThis position is responsible for coordinating and facilitating a statewide legislative advisory committee tasked with addressing forensic nursing for sexual assault patients. Will engage in self-directed research and awareness of emerging sexual assault and related injury and violence prevention issues; review, develop, and facilitate information sharing, and report development. Will assist with other related violence prevention projects as assigned.Minimum Qualifications1) Experience with program development and planning. 2) Skills in training and meeting facilitation, and ability to effectively present information. 3) Experience with providing technical assistance to partners and stakeholders. 4) Possess skills to prepare technical documents and write reports. 5) Possess excellent organizational skills, ability to set priorities, and work independently.Additional Considerations1) Experience in clinical nursing practice working directly with those that have experienced sexual assault. 2) Experience in systems level public health work or operating from a complex systems framework. 3) Experience with public health concepts including primary prevention programming.Special InstructionsYou will be provided a confirmation of receipt when your application and/or résumé is submitted successfully.
