Human Services Professional

We are seeking a Human Service Professional to support individuals facing mental health challenges, homelessness, or involvement with the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Providing trauma‑informed, recovery‑focused services in various settings such as community locations, shelters, jails, offices, and schools.
• Assisting with enrollment in programs like BadgerCare/Medicaid & FoodShare, and supporting applications for Social Security, IDs, employment, and housing.
• Offering mental health coordination, recovery support, life skills, coping skills, budgeting, and medication management assistance.
• Coordinating education opportunities such as GED and technical college.
• Collaborating with clients and teams, maintaining accurate documentation, and applying evidence‑based practices to promote independence and stability.

Qualifications Include

• Bachelor's degree in a human services‑related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Counseling, Sociology, Education, Occupational Therapy).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in community‑based environments, strong communication and organizational skills, and experience working with individuals in crisis.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and computer applications.
