In the role of Human Resources Representative, we'll count on you to:Have a passion for working with people and a focus on employee engagementAssist the local Raleigh office, NC area, and corporate HR Department with a variety of HR-related tasksConduct an engaging new hire orientation, assist with the completion of new hire paperwork, and verify I-9 documentationCreate employment requisitions, coordinate interview schedules, assist with documentation of annual recruiting plans, and coordinate immigration information with ImmigrationPartner with the area to coordinate the Internship ProgramConduct offboarding and processing of terminationsUse corporate systems to maintain employee records and process personnel transactionsProvide excellent HR customer service for employee and manager requests and questions related to company policies, procedures, benefits, hiring, etc.Comple Affirmative Action PlansProvide support for running reports and analysis of a variety of HR data and auditsDemonstrate knowledge of HDR policies and proceduresUnderstand basic HDR benefit plan provisions, assist with employees’ benefit-related questions of moderate complexity, and refer complex questions to Corporate BenefitsReview employee system queries periodically for accuracy of informationAssists with the annual performance review processPlan and direct service anniversary celebrations with local officesSchedule and coordinate interviews, presentations, meetings and conference calls Complete administrative functions such as record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entries, making photocopies, and drafting and sending emailsMaintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files, records, and sensitive employee informationAssist with special projectsMust be able to work in the downtown Raleigh office to support managers and employeesAbility to travel around 3 times a year for team building, training, and conferencesPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications Associate's or bachelor's degree in relevant field1-3 years of relevant experienceLocal candidates preferredQualificationsRequired Qualifications High School diploma or equivalentAbility to communicate professionally with all levels of employees and managementExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacyExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Word and Excel or similar programsBasic understanding of business activitiesAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
