Location: Whiting, NJ
Assignment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Full-Time-100% in office
Salary 75,000-80,000

Position Summary

This role requires a well-rounded HR professional who can manage day-to-day HR operations while delivering exceptional administrative support. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ADP Workforce Now , possess excellent organizational skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Process employee transactions within ADP Workforce Now , including new hires, terminations, status changes, and employee record maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR documentation.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, orientations, and exit processes.
  • Assist with benefits administration, employee leaves, and open enrollment activities.
  • Coordinate employee relations matters and elevate issues as appropriate.
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive HR matters.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling interviews, maintaining calendars, preparing correspondence, and organizing HR files.
  • Assist with recruiting coordination, candidate communication, and interview scheduling as needed.
  • Partner with leadership on various HR initiatives and special projects.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist, HR Partner, or HR Administrator role.
  • Required: Hands-on experience using ADP Workforce Now .
  • Strong HR administrative experience, including employee records management and HR documentation.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plus.
  • Experience supporting employee benefits, payroll coordination, and leave administration.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or multi-site environment.
