The company is targeting $50 billion in annual revenue within the decade through accretive acquisitions and organic growth.This role offers flexibility to be based within key markets across the Eastern or Central time zones, with proximity to a major airport to support travel across a 26-branch operation.Managing Human Resources Operations for exempt and non-exempt teams in a union and non-union environmentPartnering with the Recruiting team; includes interview content/value identification and candidate selection in a timely and effective mannerInvestigate employee issues and conflictsEnsure organization's compliance with local, state, and federal regulationsSupport, guide, and train managers to help them maintain effective working relationships with unionsActively manage organizational talent, workforce planning processes, and succession planningParticipate in organization-wide HR initiatives including leadership and employer of choice effortsCreate and implement a positive employee relations program at all locationsDemonstrated ability to lead Engagement and Retention initiativesEffectively manage communication plans and HR strategy for annual HR processes (e.g. Performance Management, Salary Planning, Talent Reviews)Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation, employee and labor relations guidance, and day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)Manage leave of absence process and transitional duty processFacilitate resolution of payroll and timekeeping administration issuesProvide guidance and compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfersPartner with Regional Safety Managers to ensure the effectiveness of company safety programs and initiativesDevelop HR strategies and administer HR policies and proceduresParticipates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Maintains company organization charts and employee directoryOther duties as assignedA minimum of 8 years of full-scope human resources management experience is required, with related industry experience preferredPrior work experience with a Fortune 500 company that is well known for HR practices, preferredBachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Human Resources or related field preferredDemonstrated leadership skills and process orientationStrong business acumen and analytical mindset with the ability to lead, implement, and facilitate change.Strong employee relations background required, with relatable labor relations experience preferredStrong project management skillsExperience working in changing environments, managing through complexity, and driving changeStrong influencing and coaching skills.
