We’re looking for a dynamic, people-focused HR Manager to lead every aspect of the employee experience — from onboarding to engagement, from payroll to performance, and everything in between.
This is a broad, hands-on position within a well-established manufacturing company serving the aviation and marine industries . You’ll wear many hats and play an essential role in supporting both people and operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple systems and priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

What You’ll Do
As HR Manager, you’ll take ownership of the “human element” across the business — blending day-to-day operations with long-term HR strategy.
- Greet visitors, open the office, and handle daily administrative tasks such as checking mail and ordering office supplies
- Manage and maintain multiple systems and portals (approximately 35 different logins )
- Perform manual HR and payroll tasks, including:
- Producing W-2s and handling tax filings manually
- Updating employee information (e.g., address changes) across several systems (typically 5+)
Talent & Employee Lifecycle
- Create, post, and manage job descriptions and applicant pipelines
- Screen and assess candidates for skill and culture fit
- Partner with outside recruiting organizations as needed
- Lead new hire onboarding, terminations, and employment status changes
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management on employee relations and performance issues
- Deliver clear, constructive feedback and manage disciplinary or corrective actions
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment through communication, recognition, and company events that promote engagement and retention
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Manage bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll, payroll taxes, and 401(k) contributions
- Oversee annual W-2 preparation and filing
- Administer benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, and workers’ comp
- Support employees in navigating healthcare and ancillary benefits
- Review and reconcile monthly benefit invoices
Compliance & Policy Management
- Maintain compliance with all applicable labor laws and employment regulations
- Manage Affirmative Action and other reporting requirements
- Administer disability, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims
- Develop, update, and communicate company policies and procedures
- Plan and coordinate team-building and company-wide events
- Collaborate cross-functionally to continuously improve HR processes and employee experience
- Exceptional multi-tasking and system navigation skills
- Strong attention to detail and process ownership
- Ability to streamline manual workflows and improve system efficiency
- Flexible, dependable, and proactive — someone who takes initiative and keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes
- Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years of HR Generalist experience supporting a large team within a manufacturing or industrial environment , with broad HR responsibilities including:
- Payroll and benefits administration
- Full-cycle employment activities (hiring through offboarding)
- Performance management
- Disability and leave administration
- Affirmative Action and compliance reporting
- Policy development and event coordination that promotes retention
- Solid understanding of HR operations and current employment laws
- Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with Infor ERP SyteLine a plus
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
- Energetic, collaborative, and service-minded approach
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR generalist or management experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Additional Requirements
- U.S. citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- Must be based in Dallas, TX and work onsite at the facility
