They serve as a strategic partner to leadership and serve as a trusted resource for employees. This role supports the entire employee life cycle - from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding - while fostering a harmonious, inclusive, and productive work environment.Key Responsibilities include:Responsible for overseeing the HR team, including setting performance standards, evaluating staff, and supporting team members’ growth and developmentServes as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters and recommends appropriate actions in response to performance and conduct issuesStrives to ensure fair and consistent application of Allied’s policiesLeads full-cycle recruitment efforts, including marketing, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and hiring for hourly positionsForms strategic partnerships with agencies & community contacts for hourly talentCollaborates with team members regarding onboarding programs to ensure successful integration of new hiresGuides leaders in understanding and modeling the Allied WayLeads event planning and internal community building activitiesMaintains communication channels and ensures employees feel heard and valuedContinuously assesses, evolves, and optimizes HR operations including systems, processes, workflows, and service deliveryEnsures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsSupports administration of absence management including FMLA, Personal Leaves, etc.Ensures progressive HR policies and responds to evolving workforce needsLeads research, projects, and other activitiesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial roleExcellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to consult and influence leaders at various levelsProven experience supporting manufacturing operations preferredComfortable developing and implementing HR processes in a growing organizationStrong knowledge of employment laws and HR complianceA proactive mindset and willingness to be both strategic and hands-onProficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office SuiteSHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferredTotal RewardsCompetitive base payAs an employee-owned company, Allied currently contributes 25% of annual earnings to your individual employee retirement account each yearAnnual Profit-Sharing bonusPaid time off including vacation, holidays, and sick timeComprehensive Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental, and Vision programs401K programLife, Short-Term, and Long-Term disabilityFlexible work schedulesCareer GrowthGrowth and advancement opportunitiesEducation reimbursement for continued learningAllied Mineral Products Holding, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
