Lowry is a Brighton, Michigan based technology company, and we’re looking for a Human Resources Manager who’s excited to build and lead a people function in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment. This is a strategic and hands‑on role where you’ll shape culture, support our team, and ensure we have strong, scalable HR practices.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with leadership to develop HR strategies that support our people and business goals
- Lead full‑cycle recruiting and deliver a great candidate experience
- Own onboarding, performance management, and employee development programs
- Support managers and employees with coaching, guidance, and employee relations
- Maintain and enhance HR policies, compliance, and HR operations
- Administer compensation, benefits, and HRIS processes
- Drive engagement and culture initiatives
- Coordinate payroll accuracy with Finance and manage benefits renewals
- Handle workers’ compensation, safety reporting, and other compliance needs as required
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience (tech or fast‑paced environment a plus)
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law
- Experience using modern workplace technologies, including AI-assisted tools, to improve productivity, reporting, communication, and process efficiency.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with HRIS systems and data‑driven decision‑making
- Ability to work independently and manage a broad range of responsibilities
