The HR Intern responsibilities including processing new hire paperwork, filing, assisting with HR documents accordingly, initiating background checks on shortlisted candidates, and providing suitable recommendations to improve HR policies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Carries out administrative duties, such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.Assembles, maintains, and audits new hire files, both internal and externalManagement of incoming phone calls when needed to support staffCreates and maintains filing systems, both digital and physicalMonitor the proper completion of paperworkCommunicate how to virtually sign Adobe Acrobat .pdf documents to new employeesProvide support of new-hire onboarding processFiling employee timesheets as neededMay also assist with research and special projects as neededQualifications:Current junior or senior undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institutionPursuing Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, English, Communications, or a related field of studyKnowledge of appropriate software, including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat (for.pdf documents)Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalismStrong attention to detailAnalytical thinking and problem-solving mentalityExcellent organizational and communication skillsWillingness to share ideas and provide support as needed on various initiativesUp to 25 hours a week (flexible)Compensation available
