Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Bilingual HR Generalist (English/Spanish) to join a growing team in Patchogue, NY. This is a permanent, full-time onsite opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being hands-on and supporting employees throughout the full employee lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for employees
- Coordinate new hire paperwork, orientation, and employment documentation
- Support benefits administration, including employee enrollment, changes, and employee questions
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and general HR matters
- Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially
- Assist employees and managers with workplace concerns and HR-related questions
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Support HR compliance and company policies and procedures
- Assist with HR reporting and administrative projects as needed
- Provide HR support to both English- and Spanish-speaking employees
Qualifications
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous HR Generalist or similar human resources experience required
- Hands-on experience with onboarding and offboarding
- Experience with benefits administration
- Strong employee relations experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Comfortable working in a full-time onsite environment
