Job Summary

Seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a wide range of human resources and workplace safety functions in a fast-paced operational environment. This role partners closely with management and employees to support recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, workers’ compensation, training, and safety initiatives.

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes.
• Serve as a resource for employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
• Assist employees with benefits enrollment, questions, and issue resolution.
• Support HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Maintain employee records, HR systems, and reporting metrics.
• Coordinate employee training, development, and policy communication.
• Administer workers’ compensation claims, injury reporting, and timekeeping updates.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain safety training records and certifications.
• Promote a strong safety culture through observations, coaching, and employee engagement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of HR and/or workplace safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
• Experience with benefits administration, recruiting, and HR systems preferred.
• Safety certification and HRIS/ATS experience are a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

• Primarily office-based within a manufacturing or operations environment.
• Occasional travel for recruiting events and training may be required.
• Flexibility to work additional hours during peak business periods.
